Allison scowled for a moment when Bailey assumed that her Poochyena was weak, due to the fact that it was much more kind than expected. The Poochyena growled when the other trainer suggested the same thing that Allison had scowled about, the little female dog pokemon barked at Bailey.
"Just because a pokemon is nice, doesnt mean its weak. You`d be in big trouble yourself if that was true. Your Machop is a nice pokemon and he is strong, so what makes mine any different?" Allison asked, in a rather calm matter. Poochyena barked at the Zigzagoon, Allison instinctively moved forward before the Zigzagoon could grab the lava cookie from her bag.
"I dont really name my pokemon, Poochyena and Magikarp are good enough names for me."

Bailey sighed, not meaning her comment to be the way Allison had taken it. "Pacho is not that nice, really. He helps sometimes, but he's actually pretty mean, especially when he battles. Your Poochyena, though, seems too nice to battle. That's really all I meant. But whatever." As soon as Bailey had finished replying, she noticed the Zigzagoon trying to steal something out of Allison's backpack. Instead of offering to take care of it, she instead sort of made a wager. "How about you let me see how well your Poochyena can really battle. Maybe change my mind about her?" Bailey's intentions were of course for Allison to battle her Poochyena against the Zigzagoon, which was currently being very rude. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- The Zigzagoon, which was in process of trying to gain a sweet tasting cookie from a large object on the human's back, was too busy to notice right off that he had lost his balance and fell. On his way down, he fumbled to stay on the girl, using his claws to try to latch on to her clothing, but he was unsuccessful. When he hit the ground, he became angry. He saw the grayish puppy Pokemon, and decided to take his anger out on it. He ran towards it with a tackle, neither very fast nor slow. About average in speed, this little Zigzagoon made up for it with spunk and determination. He wanted a cookie, and in the end, received a battle, or maybe started one. A wild male Zigzagoon at level 6 has attacked!

Poochyena didnt even wait for a command before she charged the Zigzagoon. She ducked off to the side, and let the other pokemon skid past her while she turned herself on her own four paws and braced herself. Magikarp flopped himself around in the little puddle so he could watch the fight, and perhaps gain some experience for it as well. He hoped that he would soon be at level nine, that way he would be one step closer to becoming the Gyarados that Allison so desperately wanted him to be.
The little dog like pokemon only knew one attack at this rather low level, and hoped that it would be enough to take this much stronger pokemon down. She knew that, with Magikarp being the only other one on her team, she was Allison`s only hope at a victory. This flooded her veins with a fiery determination, Poochyena promised herself to protect this human and she fully intended to do so. Poochyena took a couple of steps back, then charged the Zigzagoon with her own tackle.
Allison couldn`t find any of the right words to reply, but it just seemed as if Bailey`s words made her a bit more angry with each new sentence she uttered, even if it was unintentional. Maybe deciding to travel together wasn`t such a great idea after all... and now Allison was starting to regret saying yes to the offer.

The Zigzagoon was hit hard by the tackle from the Poochyena, for it wasn't very fast in dodging the attack, as it was quite unexpected. The little raccoon Pokemon barely had time to stop and turn around before the Poochyena slammed into him. Though he was sent backwards, and was hurt badly by the attack, he still had energy enough to stand back up and run with another tackle. It didn't like to use any other moves besides attack moves, so it didn't use its stat enhancing moves that it already knew. He was a bit slower than before, but he was still ready for the fight. As he ran, he seemed to scream out, Zigzig! <Give me the cookie!>
--- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ---
Bailey watched the battle in amazement, for the little Poochyena had a lot of energy, and was indeed fairly strong. The Zigzagoon wasn't ready to give up, and this showed Bailey that it was stronger than the Poochyena. She silently commented to her Machop, "The pup is pretty strong," as the Zigzagoon stood up after the harsh tackle it endured, but it still was not enough for her to like it that much. The poochyena, she was starting to admire, but she still couldn't bring herself to tell Allison this, for it just wasn't her view of the breed of Pokemon. It was a pack-oriented breed, and should be with its pack, and should be strong and deterring. This Poochyena didn't seem that way to her. She stood with her arms crossed, examining the battle, and Pacho stood by her side proudly, his arms crossed as well. Enka, on the other hand, was scavenging bushes for food, not paying any mind to the battle.
