Allison walked quietly through the thick of the trees, her only filled pokeball in one hand. She had made the biggest mistake of her life by picking Magikarp, the little fish pokemon had but one attack and would remain that way for quite some time. If they got attacked by a strong pokemon, they would be in a lot of trouble.
She paused, Allison thought she had heard something but she was just being overly cautious. If only she encountered a good pokemon that willing gave itself to be captured, the girl quietly laughed at the thought. If only it were that simple. A giant Nidoking, a roaring Arcanine, or an Aerodactyl towering behind her would be quite the sight to behold, now then she could sleep easy that night. The sun was already beginning to set, and she was nowhere near the city.
Magikarp popped out of his pokeball when her finger bumped the button. He flopped about the ground, saddened that there was nothing he could do to bestow some kind of confidence in his beloved trainers life. Allison knelt down and scooped him up, she smiled at the orange fish.
"Don`t worry Magikarp, you`ll become the strongest pokemon soon. We just need to find you a training partner first."

A wild Poocheyna limped its way around the clearing, her right hind leg obviously giving him trouble. She stopped behind a bush which completely hid her from the adolescent girl’s view. She had been injured a couple of days ago when a member of Team Shadowbolt tried to capture her and she only just escaped then. She didn’t want to know what would happen if she did go up against this trainer, but one thing was for sure… she wouldn’t last long with her leg injured the way that it was. Then she saw a magikarp emerge from one of her pokeballs.
She took in a deep breath and released it slowly. She wasn’t a Shadowbolt member, but her leg was killing her now. She knew what she had to do and slowly gathered all the courage she could find. Once she gathered herself she walked out from around the bush and let out a soft pain filled cry. Perhaps if the trainer healed her, she would consider allowing the girl to capture her without a fight. It seemed a reasonable reward for a trainer with a Magikarp even if she only knew one attack.

With her Magikarp in her arms, she couldnt pick up the injured puppy like pokemon. Allison, for the first time in awhile felt sorry for another being. With one hand, the trainer grabbed her pokeball and Magikarp was sucked back into it. Then she grabbed another pokeball, but didn`t throw it. Instead she knelt down and stroked the Poochyena, one of the pokemon she was hoping to encounter. Even though she was hoping for a healthy pokemon, so she could train it up before they got to the gym.
"What happened to you?" Allison set the pokeball down right next to the dark type pokemon and reached into her bag for something else. When her hand emerged from the bag, Allison had a potion in her grasp. The trainer opened it up, and carefully rubbed it on the wound. She was sure that this pokemon only approached her because it was hurt, not because it actually wanted to be captured.
"Better?" asked Allison with a little friendly smile on her face, secretly hoping that the Poochyena would decide to stay.
(if she does stick around, dont forget to add in what level she is (5-10), Gender, Abilities, and Attacks. Just like in the PCs)

The Poocheyna watched as she grabbed out a pokeball other than the Magikarp. What was it with humans and those things! She stepped back and would have gone a bit further but the female trainer knelt down and began stroking her. "What happened to you?" There was so much the little Pokémon wanted to tell her but unfortunately the trainer wouldn’t understand what ever she said so she settled with emitting a cry as if saying that she was attacked by a Shadowbolt member. The poocheyna relaxed even more when the trainer set the pokeball down next to her and got a potion out of her bag. She watched as the trainer opened the container and applied the medicine to her wound. It almost instantly felt better. "Better?" She gave the trainer a heart filled cry of gratitude and happiness before running around the teenager. She had to admit that she didn’t like trainers much, but it didn’t help when the trainer before the Shadowbolt member had taken her parents away from her. She liked this one though she seemed so... friendly. She then saw the pokeball lying on the ground near where she had been standing and ran towards it. Her leg felt so much better now and she owed a lot to this girl, so to repay her she would offer the trainer her services. She skidded to a halt in front of the pokeball and tapped it twice. Once to enlarge it and the second time to suck her in. Once the light had taken her inside the pokeball it rocked back and forth for a whole minute before giving a ting sound. Congradulations! You’ve caught a Poocheyna!Name: Your choice Level: 4 Gender: Female Abilities: Run Away Attacks: Tackle (I know, I know... I got enough pokemon from you before the restart remember?)

Allison watched the little puppy parade around after she healed it. She should have kept the potion for her poor, rather worthless, Magikarp who was bound to end up beaten up later on. The trainer got back to her feet so she could watch the Poochyena take off, at least she would feel good about helping a pokemon out. But to her surprise, the pokemon willingly bumped the pokeball and let itself be captured.
She waited until the pokeball had stopped rocking before kneeling back down and picking up her new pokemon. Magikarp was sure to be pleased that they had a new friend on the team, and he could tag team with it and become stronger himself. The fish didn`t know what he was bound to evolve into, or if he would at all, but he didn`t want to be weak and defenseless anymore.
With her knew pokemon in hand, she clipped the pokeball to her belt and began to walk forward again. Now she felt like she might have a fighting chance against wild pokemon.

Bailey and her Machop walked silently and slowly on Route 1. Bailey was hoping to see many Pokemon during her journey, and she figured she should get a good start at catching new Pokemon and training her prized one. She was softly whistling a southern-style tune when her Machop stopped her. "What's up?" she asked. The Machop pointed ahead of them, and when Bailey glanced in the mentioned direction, she saw a trainer holding a Magikarp, moving her hand away from her belt. Bailey thought it odd to have a Magikarp, for they were the weakest of Pokemon.
"Let's see who she is, how 'bout it?" Bailey suggested. The Machop was ready to meet someone new if his trainer was, and so he followed loyally.
"Hey, I'm Bailey." Bailey introduced herself when she caught up with the apparent trainer. Machop sharply introduced himself, as well. Chop!

Magikarp flopped around like crazy, trying to warn his master of an approaching trainer. Allison turned as soon as she heard voices, her hand was already to her other pokeball on her belt in case there was going to be some kind of trouble. Luckily for them they just seemed as if they were trying to be friendly. A Machop? The fully evolved for of the basic pokemon was one of her favorites, she wanted one of her own on her team in the future. Magikarp flopped right out of Allison`s arms and flailed around wildly.
"Oh, uh, nice to meet you Bailey. I`m Allison, and my pokemon there is Magikarp." She replied, and smiled at the Machop. Magikarp some how managed to flop over to the fighting pokemon, but made some kind of panting noises.
<Carp.... Carp Carp, Magikarp.>

Bailey watched as the Magikarp helplessly flopped around, and finally towards her Machop. She looked awkwardly at it for a moment, then turned back to Allison. "Just one question, no offense. Why did you pick such a useless Pokemon as your starter Pokemon? They have a lot of strong Pokemon at the lab, just look at my Machop." Bailey was in no way trying to hurt the girl's feelings, but she was always blunt, and sometimes her big mouth did get her into trouble. Right now, though, she didn't feel that way. She believed that Allison knew just as well that she had picked a weak Pokemon. But why?
The Machop stared at the Magikarp, wondering what to do for it. It looked so helpless, surely there must be something he could do. He smiled when he thought of an idea. Machop, chop chop! he tried to get Bailey to understand him. When Bailey returned no dignified answer, he tugged at her shirt to pull her over to a small rain puddle, apparently from the heavy rain last night. Chop chop! the Machop pointed towards the Magikarp, then to the puddle.
"Oh, I get it now!" Bailey went over to the Magikarp and knelt down. She glanced up at Allison and asked, "May I?" for permission to pick up the Magikarp.

At first, Allison didn`t respond to her rather offensive questions because she didn`t really know why she had picked Magikarp. She thought about it, and only once wished she could do it all over again. It was like any other trainer, the two just seemed to awkwardly click. Allison grinned suddenly, thinking of a reason of her liking.
"Go ahead, I cant believe I didnt notice the puddle." Allison replied, she took a couple of steps towards the little puddle so she could meet Magikarp when he was there. "I picked Magikarp because, unlike most trainers, I`m not afraid of a challenging pokemon. Besides, one day Magikarp will grow up and evolve to be an extremely terrifying pokemon. Probably the most powerful of any of the starting pokemon available. Magikarp can swim, breath under water, provide unlimited entertainment, but most of all Magikarp is my friend. We share a bond stronger than anybody can imagine, even if I know Magikarp cant do much right now."

Bailey nodded and scooped up the Magikarp in her arms. Carrying him over to the puddle, she listened intently to what Allison had to say about why she picked the Magikarp. She hadn't thought about the bonds that trainers have with their Pokemon, and though she and her Machop were sort of friends and got along well, she didn't know if they had a bond as strong as Bailey and Magikarp did.
Laying the fish Pokemon in the puddle, Bailey hoped that this would make the Magikarp less stressed and feel better. The Machop smiled when Bailey layed the Magikarp in the water, for he knew that water Pokemon should be in water. It was the only way they could really be happy, such as with flying types in the air.
After Allison had finished her speech, Bailey didn't know what to say. She examined the Magikarp, but still couldn't see anything special about it herself. She thought hard on the thing she had said about him evolving, and realized that this little thing would one day become a Gyrados. She smiled, then, as she thought of the water dragon. Gyrados was a magnificent Pokemon - strong, terrifying, and beautiful in its own way. She came to the conclusion that Allison had made a great choice, no matter how hard it would be to train this now-useless Pokemon. They had something in common - they both liked strong Pokemon. Allison, in Bailey's opinion, had just taken a harder approach to achieving a tough Pokemon.
"How 'bout I help you train this Magikarp? He'll learn things by watchin' us battle, and this'll help him grow stronger, so he'll evolve quicker. Whattaya say? Wanna travel together?" Bailey hadn't planned on traveling with anyone, but she felt that her and Allison could be great friends, and she also felt a bit sorry for her at the moment. She couldn't even begin to imagine what a burden it would be to train this type of Pokemon.

At first Allison didn`t really know what to make of this sudden offer, the two hardly new each other. It was hard to really say yes or no, sure it was a fantastic offer and the two could become good friends along the way, but what if they ended up hating each other. Allison had some doubt in her mind, but decided that she could probably make it work out.
Magikarp wasn`t her only pokemon that needed training, her recently captured Poochyena needed quite a bit of training too and was only about half as many levels as Magikarp. Luckily for Allison, she had found some rare candies and fed them to Magikarp.
"Sounds good to me, and once your Machop evolves into a Machoke, you can trade him to me so he can evolve, then I can trade him back and you`ll have your fully evolved pokemon." Allison replied, throwing in the last part just for the fun of it. If she was getting such a sweet deal out of it, then Allison should have something to give in return. If she captured an Abra, Geodude, or Gastly along the way, they could both trade a pokemon and evolve them.

Bailey nodded. "Then it's settled. We'll travel together for a while, if not for good. At least until this Magikarp evolves. And thanks, that's a great idea to evolve my Pokemon. By the way, I haven't even thought of a name for him yet. What's your Magikarp's name?" Bailey knew she should have already thought of a name, but she hadn't really made that her priority. After all, she had just met someone with a weak Pokemon. How could she have time to think of anything else?
Bailey looked down at the Magikarp and wondered if this was helping him. Though her Machop had a good idea, it didn't mean that he'd had the best idea ever. He was smart, she could tell, but how smart she had yet to find out.
{OOC: You may make a wild Pokemon appear, but you cannot participate in battling it yourself.}

Every once in awhile Magikarp would use a very fierce splash attack and fly out of the puddle. Magikarp was a good jumper, almost launching himself three feet in the air his first try. Allison was overjoyed to see her fish pokemon enjoying itself, even if she didn`t show her enthusiasm.
Magikarp splashed himself out of the water and into the air again, and when he looked back down he noticed something slithering through the grass. The fish didnt land in the puddle, but began to flop helplessly towards the slithering creature, showing the trainers that there was something there. Allison`s eyes followed Magikarp, then found the Ekans that had been getting closer.
Ekans paused when it got to the Magikarp, who in turn slapped the snake in the face with its tail while he launched himself into the air again. The snake hissed, and when Magikarp came back down Ekans wrapped itself around the Magikarp. Magikarp gasped as it was squeezed. Allison quickly looked to Bailey and Machop, rather than using her own pokemon to battle.

Bailey saw the Ekans almost immediately after the Magikarp flopped after it. She thought Ekans was a great Pokemon, but it wasn't her top priority. Still, she thought it would make a great temporary addition. Smiling slyly, she calmly told her Machop to get ready for his first battle.
"Alright, Machop. Time to see what you're made of. Hit that Ekans with Low Kick!" Bailey watched the Ekans squeeze the Magikarp with its Wrap attack, and felt deep sympathy for it. That was about to change.
The Machop didn't waste any time in getting down to business. With one quick hop he was right next to the Ekans. He doubled up his fists as if he were doing karate, then swung his right leg around to kick the Ekans. The Ekans most likely hadn't even noticed him yet, for he was too busy with the Magikarp. Bailey watched intently, knowing that her Machop would be just fine. The Magikarp would get some good experience from this battle, too, but it would still take quite a while to evolve it.
{OOC: When your Magikarp gets to level 15, it'll learn tackle. You could have the Magikarp jump out of Allison's hands when it learns this attack and tackle a wild Pokemon. That's how Allison will learn that it has learned that move. Just a suggestion =D}

When the ekans was kicked, Magikarp flopped out of its grasp and tumbled to the ground. The fish seemed okay, its hardened scales protected for the most part but the snake unfortunately did not have the same advantage. Ekans felt the blunt kick and let out a loud pained hiss, then took a little flight into some taller grass. But there was no way that Ekans was finished yet, he slithered back through the grass and once he got to a point where he was close to the Machop, Ekans used a Leer attack to blind the fighting pokemon.
Allison ran to her pokemon`s side and picked him up. She decided to take him back to the puddle and to guard him, but Magikarp seemed to want to watch the fight. If Magikarp was going to become stronger, he needed to watch some good fighting techniques.
(Lol I will do something fun for that. But we have quite some time before he`ll be level 15 xD )
